RYA AND DoT SHOREBASED COURSES

The focus of the shorebased course is you!

The basis of our navigational courses is student focus with lots of hands on practice navigating and completing exercises using the charts and is aimed to be a social class.   The Day Skipper is a must!  It starts from scratch with navigation, weather, safety and is suitable for both experienced sailors who want to brush up, or fill in the gaps in their basic knowledge and for those new to boating and planning to take a boat on the water, especially if you are responsible for other people.  The Coastal Skipper/yachtmaster moves on from the Day Skipper qualification and brings into place the more intricate forms of navigation and  seamanship used in longer passages.

HELD AT The Sailing Room, Royal Plymouth Corinthian Yacht Club, Sutton Harbour
