INSTRUCTOR/SKIPPER NEWS

The Call of the Sea Still Beckons for Wendy

Wendy Langdon has been running and instructing at Start Point Sailing on both shorebased and practical sailing courses since she took over the business in 2001.

Congrats to her on finishing her Graduate Certificate in Education.  She is now qualified to teach level 4 and 5 level (age 14+) courses to youngsters as well as adults.  This means that we can now offer GCSE sail cruising course module to schools and colleges on our 29 foot GK29 training yacht as well as the RYA courses.

Returning to continue running the sailing school full time, she is raring to go for the new sail training season, with lots more tricks up her sleeve.

Retirement Bob Wilkins RN ret. Has now hung up his instructing Sowester and sea boots.  We wish to thank Bob for his many years of loyal service as Chief Instructor.  Never short of a sea yarn at the saloon table, we will miss his larger than life character and wish him a fulfilling retirement.

We hope to bring you news of our special offers and things going on at Start Point Sailing and Sail-West.
