CHARTER BAREBOAT FROM as little as £85 per day

UK SAILING AREA:

The South West coastline offers ideal unspoilt cruising waters for the yachtsman and his family. The many rivers and estuaries are a delight and are well known for their tranquillity and bird life. The River Dart is a natural deep water harbour on the South Devon coast. If you have the time go up the river to Dittisham and sample the good food and the local pubs.

The seaward trip is equally spectacular with the ancient seafaring town of Dartmouth and the Naval College on your starboard side, with Kingswear to port and then past the ancient castle guarding the entrance and into Start Bay.

This is where the exploring starts.

To the north, The English Riviera, Brixham and Torquay, with their fully equipped Marinas and then further afield to Exmouth, Lyme Regis, Weymouth and Poole.

To the west, you will find Start Point, the beautiful and tranquil Salcombe, the River Yealm, Plymouth, Fowey, Falmouth and beyond.

All these destinations are within a comfortable day's sail of each other, making them ideal voyages for families with children eager to explore ashore. Ideal also for couples not out to break and sailing records but who perhaps enjoy a lunch time beer in one of the many friendly pubs and a meal in the evening.

To the South more experienced sailors can cast off and discover a different slice of Island life –secluded anchorages, offshore reefs, diverse wildlife and more fantastic scenery of Jersey, Guernsey and Sark in The Channel Islands and the North French coast and Brittany.

If you like the idea of charter but are not sure of your skills, we can assist by offering you a friendly qualified, CRB checked skipper or an RYA instructor for some bespoke training for you and your family or group, for as little as £100 per day.
