We offer the full range of RYA Shorebased and Practical Courses from our Plymouth based Sailing School. RYA Courses include RYA Start Yachting, RYA
Competent Crew, RYA Day Skipper practical and theory intensive, combined,
fast-track and RYA Coastal Skipper and VHF Marine Radio course from Sutton Harbour,
Plymouth as
well as the International Certificate of Competence (ICC) required for
European Chartering.

The Westerly GK29 is a designed to be a fast family

with slab reefing and a sail pack/lazyjacks fitted
she is easy to handle, proving a favourite with many of our RYA sail training
course clients returning for bareboat charter.

in partnership with marinas.

Responsibilities Course is NOW LIVE!
 Start Point Sailing
is one of a few schools registered to provide the new Professional Practices
and Responsibilities Course – the course is a compulsory requirement
for first time RYA Commercial Endorsement holders and for those revalidating
their certificates.
 To enrol on the PPR
course: Create an account with
Start Point Sailing on the RYA Interactive site. There is no need to contact us to confirm
whether you can take the course through us, we currently have capacity to
assist a further 147 on-line students.
Get a taste for the course by watching the video on the RYA Interactive site. To purchase the course, you will be taken
straight into the payment gateway the first time you click the link on the
PPR course. You will be asked to pay £31 + VAT. Once payment is cleared then you can complete your course
and print out your certificate.

have any queries.
